When we dream we explore our inner workings through imaginal story depicted in our minds eye.  Stories called forth by our sub-conscious to guide us on our journey  Images sometimes elusive in their meaning, to gently  protect us.  Dreams visually encrypted with messages we can decipher when we are ready to.  The choice is ours. We can decide when we are ready.  It is that simple. We must make a conscious choice  and commitment to signal our readiness to our subconscious.

Dreams often hold messages we normally avoid for fear of what they may say to us. What meaning we may give them. What they might say about us.  Yet if we accept all sides of ourself we begin to collect our full strength and power to move forward towards our life path.  If we shy away, we stay put, stuck in old patterns and blocks.

I’m not saying it is easy work.

Sometimes it seems like too much.  When I open my mind to my dreams I become flooded with images and stories which would occupy too much time if I were to try to figure them all out.  But then I remind myself that I don’t need to “figure out” anything, my inner wisdom has already done that.  What I need is to listen.  Listen to those inner voices of wisdom and strength. Listen to my desire to keep moving on my journey, learning new ways,  experiencing life through different perspectives.

Connecting with my dreams can help me do this.  All I need do is open the doors.  Listen and embrace my inner knowledge. Allow the change to unfold with this new perspective.

I use to waste my time trying to figure it out. Now instead of looking for a final answer, I wonder in the possibilities.  Knowing that no matter the path, when I am open to my options there are endless paths to choose.

I use to play it safe. Same options. Same route.  Same result.  Stuck. Now I know that it does not have to be this way.  Following my inner wisdom has opened me to this reality.
