
As I doodle I feel myself become focused on each line, watching patterns or breaking patterns as the pen in my hand leads the way. Focused on the present moment and what is unfolding before my eyes piece by piece a calmness ensues. The doodle becomes a meditative practice in that sense, allowing me to focus on the here and now of the doodle line as I might my own breathe.
